It will show the Lat/Lon, UTM, NTS, altitude, compass direction, speed and temperature all in the navigating screen. Select the utilities tab to show full screens of ten utilities which include weather, stop watch, alarm clock, decibel meter, level, compass, speedometer, text to speech, and flashlight. It is the swiss army knife of utilities. Now everything is in one app without the need to switch between apps. There is no need to bring your garmin with you anymore since this will import all you garmin files in gpx format. Simply email them to you iPhone/iPad device and select 'Open in Track Me Plus' or you can transfer them through itunes by putting them in the documents directory. The map functions include creating, saving, and loading tracks, routes, and waypoints. There is the option to show the route in the Maps program if that is preferred. You can also select between imperial and metric or celcius and fahrenheit units. Using the callout on dropped pins you can set the start/stop points for a route as well as measure the distance and bearing between two points. It also has an option to show the distance of the track. This is approximate and should be close to plus or minus 5%.Quickly select the crosshairs on the bottom right corner to center your location or release it so that you can drag the map to a desired location. The previous apps required you to go into the settings to change this feature.Warning - Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Be advised that the weather updates will not work unless there is an internet connection.
